UNSW in Relation to Sydney

The School is located on the Kensington Campus of UNSW, which is in the southern part of Sydney between the city and the airport and only 2 km from the ocean.

Transport to Kensington Campus

Several bus lines will bring you directly to the Kensington Campus, including a special UNSW bus connection to the central railway station, which connects to all inner and outer suburbs of Sydney.

Directions to the School

The School's location can be viewed on the Kensington Campus map.  The School is located in middle Campus, map reference J17.  The nearest access is Gate 14 in Barker Street.

Map of School and Facilities

The School is based in two adjacent buildings linked by an overhead walkway. The tutorial building houses the majority of the academic staff, administrative staff, classrooms and CAD and other computing facilities. The laboratory building (Willis Annexe) houses extensive laboratories, the workshop and store, all of the laboratory support staff and some of the academics with strong laboratory connections.
