Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Students

For those who do not quite meet the Faculty basic cut-off there is the possibility of Faculty of Engineering Admission Scheme (FEAS), in which other information (including an interview) is taken into account.

Meeting the formal entry requirements does not necessarily prepare you for the courses you will take, so the Faculty also lists assumed knowledge.  If you meet the basic requirements for entry but not the assumed knowledge there are bridging courses you can take.  There are also alternative first year programs that often enable those who do not have the assumed knowledge to nevertheless start Second Year on schedule.  This is possible because some courses can be taken in summer.
