For graduates of our School, engineering might mean designing high-speed catamarans for export, or planning the large-scale manufacture of pasta, or designing a wing flap on a new aeroplane, or improving a robot, or inventing a new power-steering valve for cars, or developing ozone-layer-friendly air conditioning. What if I have a disability?If you have a disability or pre-existing medical condition that is likely to disadvantage you during your university studies, you are advised to inform the University's Coordinator of Disability Services. You will be sent a questionnaire, which will give you the opportunity to state what help you will need. The information you supply is confidential and will not be taken into account when determining admission. There are, however, limits to the level and amount of services which can be provided.
