The salary range for Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is A$76K - A$107K per year depending on qualifications and experience (plus up to 17% employer superannuation plus leave loading)

The School is seeking a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with expertise in Aerospace Structures and Design. Applicants must have an applied mechanics bias in their research and will be expected to be involved in research and teaching of lightweight structures, fatigue, buckling, aero-elasticity and composite materials. The areas of research in aerospace structures and design currently include finite element analysis, composite materials and simulation. A background of research in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is essential.

The position is full time with provision for conversion to continuing after three years, subject to satisfactory performance. The position is available from February 2010.
