The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering has extensive laboratory and workshop facilities located in a separate building adjacent to the School's main building.

The laboratory building, which has a floor area of about 2000 ^{square metres}, was completed in 1962 and has recently undergone major refurbishment. Currently, a total of 19 technical staff are employed in the laboratories and workshops.

Each laboratory is associated with one or more of the five disciplines in the School. Follow the menu links for information on each of our laboratories.

How to Access the School's Laboratories

Willis Annexe has swipe card access 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Access will only be granted as outlined in Access to Laboratories.
